Hanson Consulting Group is seeking a data obsessed, professional software developer/analyst to join our team supporting our client in the consumer goods industry!

In this role you will help build and maintain enterprise level data warehouses, reporting databases and reporting tools in addition to delivering exciting new projects to end users. The ideal person in this role is someone with a technical background who has exceptional communication and who strives for high internal customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and enhance self-service reporting views and reports.
  • Advise and oversee the architectural design and integration of data sources, data warehouses and reporting structure.
  • Respond and resolve reported bugs and incidences within established SLAs.
  • Grant access to reporting tools, respond to user questions.
  • Provide support to full-time employee team regarding escalated issues.
  • Organize backlog of work into stories and sprints.
  • Modifies existing software to correct errors or improve performance.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging technology and best practices in software design and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer and Information Science, or Management Information Systems
  • 5+ years of development experience, particularly in building and maintaining databases, data migration and software integration
  • Experience creating custom dashboards and reporting
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge of software systems and programming languages
  • Experience resolving bugs/incidents
  • Project Management experience and previous Release Management experience is a plus
  • Microsoft SQL Server Development Experience
  • SSIS, SSAS, Power BI and .net
